These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of this website (the “Site”), operated by Brave Impact(“Brave Impact,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site browsing it, submitting a form, or making a gift you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Who we are
Brave Impact is a Christ-centered organization in Kenya running the Brave Impact Leadership Academy (BILA) and the Brave Impact Foundation (Faith, Hope, and Love Basket Initiative; Build in Love Mission; Wells of Life Mission; Brave Scholars Program).

2. Using the Site
You agree to use the Site only for its intended purposes: learning about our work, requesting prayer, registering for events, volunteering, exploring partnership, contacting us, and giving. You agree not to:
- submit false information on any form (including impersonating someone else when giving or registering);
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or the systems behind it;
- scrape or systematically extract content from the Site without our written permission;
- use the Site's forms to send spam, malicious content, or anything unlawful.
Every form includes a spam-prevention check; submissions that fail it are silently discarded and not saved.
3. Gifts / donations
- Payment method. Gifts made through the Site are processed exclusively via M-Pesa, through Safaricom's payment network. We do not accept card payments or other payment methods on this Site. All amounts are in Kenyan Shillings (KES).
- How it works.When you submit a gift, you'll receive an M-Pesa prompt on your phone. Entering your M-Pesa PIN on your own device authorizes the payment directly with Safaricom we never see or store your PIN. The gift is only recorded as received once Safaricom confirms the payment.
- Confirmation.If you provide an email address, you'll receive a confirmation once your gift is confirmed. If a payment doesn't complete (cancelled, insufficient funds, or the phone didn't respond), nothing is charged and you can try again.
- Errors and duplicate payments. If you believe you were charged in error, charged twice, or gave the wrong amount, contact us at [CONTENT-TODO: donations/support contact email or phone] as soon as possible with your M-Pesa transaction message so we can investigate. - Designation.You may direct your gift to a general fund or to a specific initiative offered on the Site. We intend to use designated gifts for that initiative, and undesignated (“General”) gifts where the need is greatest.
- Tax deductibility. [CONTENT-TODO: whether gifts to Brave Impactare tax-deductible in Kenya depends on the organization's registration/tax-exemption status, which has not been confirmed. Make no tax-deductibility claim on the Site until this is confirmed by the client.]
- Not a purchase. A gift is a voluntary charitable contribution, not a purchase of goods or services, and does not entitle the giver to any good, service, or benefit in return, beyond any acknowledgment we may choose to send.
4. Program enquiries (BILA and others)
Submitting an enquiry about BILA, the Identity & Purpose Discovery Program, or the Parenting Purposeful Children Program is an expression of interest, not an application or an enrollment. Admission, cohort timing, and program terms are communicated separately by our team. 5. Events
Registering for an event reserves a place based on availability; registration may be closed once capacity is reached or the event date has passed. We may need to change an event's date, location, or format, or cancel it; we'll try to notify registrants using the contact details provided at registration.
6. Content and intellectual property
Text, images, videos, and design on this Site belong to Brave Impactor are used under permission/license (e.g. licensed fonts, embedded YouTube videos, which remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to YouTube's own terms). You may view and share Site content for non-commercial purposes; you may not reproduce, redistribute, or use it commercially without our written permission.
If you submit a testimony, photo, or story to us for possible publication, you're confirming you have the right to share it and are giving us permission to use it on the Site and our other communications, unless you tell us otherwise in writing.
7. Third-party links and embeds
The Site links to or embeds content from third parties (e.g. YouTube videos, M-Pesa/Safaricom's payment system). We don't control those third parties and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or practices their own terms and privacy policies apply when you interact with them.
8. No warranty; limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is.” We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate, secure, and available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Brave Impact is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest version. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
